Reno Tahoe Comedy is pleased to announce Rodger Lizaola as our headlining comedian. Rodger Lizaola has been delighting audiences for years with his razor sharp wit, powerful stage presence, and his uncanny ability to say out loud what you are thinking!  Weaving his ability to ad-lib and improv with tales from his childhood, life, loves, and the pursuit of the almighty dollar!  Rodger tries to entertain and leave the audience with a positive message.  He breaks down barriers and takes no prisoners, as his in your face style will have you rolling with laughter, and begging for more! He was the recent champion of the Renton Comedy Contest where he had to beat eight competitors to win $100, an “I Love Renton T-shirt”, and the admiration of about 47 people. Rodger was also a finalist in the 2009 San Francisco & Seattle International Comedy Competitions and semi finalist of the Great American Comedy Festival, and the Las Vegas Comedy Festival.

Hosting this weekend’s shows is comedian Butch Escobar. Butch was born and raised in San Jose, California and has been honing his comedy skills over the past decade. Butch has toured all over the country with great performers including Tom Green, Doug Stanhope, and Last Comic Standing’s - Felipe Esparza. He frequents southern California and is a regular fixture at the Hollywood Improv and the world famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. His brand of comedy is based on his everyday life and is therefore constantly evolving.

Reno Tahoe Comedy is pleased to announce Tom McClain as our headlining comedian. Comedian Tom McClain is probably best known as the larger than life, hard hitting funnyman out of Los Angeles. He’s most often recognized for his many appearances on “The Dr. Phil Show”, “Fox Sports”, and the Emmy Award winning talk show “The Doctors”. Often described as “Everyone’s Favorite Drinking Buddy”, Tom has an uncanny ability to draw out the fun loving, often immature adult in all of us. His stand-up has been featured on several television programs like “The Dr. Phil Show”, “Man-up Stand-up”, and “West Coast Comedy All-Stars”. A known sports enthusiast Tom has found many ways to tie his work into his passion. He has emceed a number of NFL Celebrity Golf Tournaments, and appeared on many sports TV and radio talk shows showing 100% favoritism. His comedy career has become more of a success as he has learned to accept that he will not likely be the next quarterback of the 49ers.

Hosting this weekend’s shows is comedian Hark Dulai. Hark grew up a very hard working peach farmer, or actually, the lazy son of a very hard working peach farmer.  Hark has always been a sports fanatic, he watches all sports (because he was never good enough to play).  Spend 10 minutes with him and you'll feel like you've known him your entire life, kind of like your next door neighbor; spend another 20 minutes with him and you will wish your next door neighbor would move.

Enjoy guest comedian Layla Baird (for all three shows). Layla’s comedy is a mix of self deprecating truths and life’s daily irony. Raw and unapologetic, Layla finds humor in some of life’s most disappointing moments. Also making a guest appearance is Jenny PezDeSpencer (Saturday 9:30p).

Reno Tahoe Comedy is pleased to announce DC Ervin as our headlining comedian. DC Ervin is a second generation comedian that get’s a lot of his inspiration from his father, who was a comedian in his day as well. DC made his national television debut on ABC’s The Evidence, and hasn’t slowed down since. He has since won the Ontario Comedy Competition, was a finalist in the Bay Area Comedy Competition, and made an appearance on TV One’s hit comedy show, “Who’s Got Jokes” (Season 3). When not performing, DC spends his time hanging out with his lovely two daughters, who are naturally his biggest fans; as well as they should be, because he draws plenty of his material from them. His unique brand of comedy is not a come see, but a must see.

Hosting the show is comedian; Sean P. Sean has been exploding on the comedy scene for the last ten years. Sean has opened for many big name comedians such as, Robin Williams, Eddie Griffin, John Witherspoon, and more. His style of comedy is high energy and relatable for all ages and "all walks of life" folks. Sean likes to involve the crowd, not to make fun of but to find what we all can laugh at together. If you want to laugh till it hurts then you’re in for a fantastic show!

Enjoy guest comedian Aarika Rhodes (for all three shows). She has an entertaining way of using her life, short comings, and experiences to win crowds over. Aarika uses her truth, imagination, and intelligence in a hilarious way that is sure to keep you laughing.

Justin has long been impressing audiences regionally, nationally and internationally with his earnestness, heart and control of language. After a long silence following the release of his first record in 2007, he has spent the last six months in the studio recording his second full length album, "Second Chances and Irreparable Mistakes," produced and engineered by Joel Ackerson at True Story Records. It is a work of astonishing care and nuance and could very well launch Justin into the annals of songwriting history. Justin welcomes special guest, Tyler Stafford as his opening performer. Her band was voted Top Band for the Reno Blues Society Mash Bash 2010 and Spring Fling 2011 and they are regulars at the Nugget’s Best in the West Rib Cook-off event.

The Jason King Band has performed all over Northern Nevada and California. Their eclectic mix of sounds has earned them a spot on some of the area’s biggest stages, including the Big Easy Festival, the Nugget’s Best in the West Rib Cook-off, and the El Dorado’s BBQ, Brews, & Blues Festival.
