The CVV or "Card Verification Value" is the three or four digit number at the end of your account number. The CVV usually appears on the "signature panel" located on the back of your credit card. American Express prints a four digit number on the front of the card. Please see the image below for information on where to find the three or four digit number. This number is required to process your credit card transaction.
