The Folly Theater

Join The Friends in a fascinating tour-de-force through the world of Hungarian chamber music. A fully-curated journey through times and styles will bring together an all-star cast featuring clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester, hornist David Byrd-Marrow, violinists Chad Hoopes and Erin Keefe, violist Paul Neubauer, and our newly-appointed Artistic Directors cellist Dmitri Atapine and pianist Hyeyeon Park.

Beginning with the effervescent Popper Hungarian Rhapsody, the evening will take us through the reflective Kodály Serenade, and the jazz-inflected folk traditions of Bártok Contrasts, and culminate with the grand celebration of the Dohnáyi Sextet for Piano, Strings and Winds.
