The birthplace of southern gospel music, Lawrenceburg, TN, host the annual quartet festival Wednesday July 24 and continuing through Saturday July 27. Over 20 quartets will appear during the 4-day southern gospel event. You’ll hear the music of Greater Vision, Mark Trammell Quartet, the Guardians, and a rare appearance from the Second Half Quartet on Wednesday Evening at 7:00PM. Appearing on Thursday and Friday Evening will be Inspirations, Gold City, Whisnants, Mylon Hayes Family, The Kingsmen, the Chuck Wagon Gang and a reunion from the Dove Brothers Quartet and the Spencers (JB, Barbara, Kevin, and Geniece). Saturday’s show will begin at 2:00PM featuring Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Triumphant, Down East Boys, The Perrys, and Josh & Ashley Franks. This year will feature two free matinees. Gerald Wolfe’s Gospel Music Hymn Sing will return for the Thursday Matinee and will feature, Greater Vision, Mark Trammell Quartet, The Whisnants, Mylon Hayes Family, Jim & Melissa Brady, and the Hymn Sing Band. On Friday, you will enjoy traditional quartet music from the Dixie Echoes and the Blackwood Brothers Qt. Host Quartet and Lawrenceburg's own, the Kellys, will appear during the week. Josh Franks will be the MC for the entire festival. The Vaughan Quartet Festival will once again be held at the historic Crockett Theater.
